First American Hosts Its Inaugural Peer Discussion Forum
Monday, November 01, 2010
Fairport, NY (November 1, 2010) – First American Education Finance hosted its first annual Peer Discussion Forum. The event was held at the 2010 EDUCAUSE annual conference in Anaheim, California on October 13th. Leading colleges and universities discussed the many challenges and opportunities currently facing their institutions. The event provided a unique open forum for schools to collaborate with their peers.
"It remains a very challenging environment for many higher educational institutions,” said Chad Wiedenhofer, Vice President of First American Education Finance. “This event was a great opportunity to create a forum where peer institutions could come together and discuss the common challenges they face and how they are meeting those challenges. This discussion also provides First American a unique opportunity to learn more about the institutions we are committed to serving. Events like this continue to drive the evaluation of our service offerings to better meet the needs of our clients.”
